Assistance Ministries
I am Thomas L. Nieman representing Galilee Baptist Church of Kent, Washington, in the position of Missionary/ Pastor at Large. I have had the privilege of serving the Lord Jesus Christ as a Pastor for nearly 45 years.
Recently, because I felt that I wanted to pass the pastoral responsibility to the next generation, I have chosen to discontinue as Senior Pastor. NWBAM is a ministry specifically designed to encourage and minister to pastors and churches especially in the Northwest.
I do pray for each of you every Saturday morning. I pray that God will keep you pure and powerful. I pray also that God will bless your ministry--and encourage you. I do know of several who are facing serious personal problems. I fervently pray for you.
With that in mind, could I ask that you pray for Betty Sickler? She suffered a major stroke recently. Her husband Walt is a board member for NWBAM.
Additionally, my sister, Diane Waterland, who serves on the mission field with her husband, Duane, is recovering from cancer surgery.
What a blessing that we can bear one another's burdens.
May God bless you.
For the past two years NWBAM has ministered to the congregation at Berean Baptist Church in Helena MT.
We rejoice that they have recently called Pastor Joel Christensen as their full-time Pastor.
